A clear proposal for a clear question: let Mableton voters decide what happens next.
Mableton residents shouldn’t have to wonder whether their voices will be heard.
If elected, Yashica will introduce and support legislation providing Mableton voters an opportunity to vote again on the future of their city.
The proposed legislation would amend the Act incorporating Mableton to provide for a referendum on whether the city’s charter should be revoked and the city disincorporated. The proposal is an opportunity for residents to decide the question directly.
No outcome is predetermined.
The voters decide.
